Description

Zainab Abbas is a certified Creative Therapeutic Practitioner accredited by CPCAB in the United Kingdom, with a particular focus on supporting autistic and neurodivergent children. With a background in art, design, and creative therapeutic practice, she draws on approaches and experiences gained across the UK, USA, Japan, and Italy.

Zainab works with children, adults, and older individuals across a variety of settings, including private sessions, hospitals, trauma recovery, relationship healing, and corporate wellbeing programs. Her approach is inclusive and personalised, meeting each individual with creativity, compassion, and presence.

Her work is grounded in the belief that art can be a powerful tool for emotional expression, self-discovery, and healing. Creative therapy can offer an alternative to traditional talk-based approaches, particularly for those who may find it difficult to express their experiences through words.

Each session is gentle, personal, and tailored to the client’s needs. Using sensory materials, colour, texture, form, and intuitive guidance, Zainab creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner world freely, without pressure to produce a particular outcome.

Rather than focusing on fixing or changing the individual, Zainab encourages curiosity, creative engagement, and self-exploration. Through the process of creating, clients are supported in processing emotions, releasing what they have been carrying, reconnecting with themselves, and discovering new meaning in their experiences.
