Description

Dr. Joelle Samaha, PhD, is a Philosophical Counsellor, Integrative Health Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist, educator, and Founder and Head of Wellbeing at PhiloLife Wellbeing Education Center, a KHDA-accredited institution in Dubai dedicated to integrative health, prevention, and wellbeing education.

With more than 20 years of teaching experience and 15 years of professional practice in coaching and clinical hypnotherapy, Dr. Joelle works at the intersection of philosophy, behavioural transformation, education, and integrative health. She holds a PhD in Philosophy of Health and Wellbeing and a Master’s degree in Philosophy, specializing in ethics and metaphysics.

Her work explores how physical health, emotions, relationships, beliefs, lifestyle, and existential meaning influence the healing process. She is the author of The Pathology: A Vital Normativity?, which presents illness as a meaningful biopsychosocial experience rather than a purely physical condition.

Dr. Joelle is the creator of the PhiloLife Vital Coherence Protocol©, an evidence-informed and philosophically grounded coaching model that complements medical care by helping individuals become active participants in their wellbeing. The protocol supports greater coherence across the body, emotions, mind, relationships, and daily life.

Through PhiloLife, she designs and leads therapeutic wellbeing education programs for adults and young people, the KHDA-accredited PhiloLife Training Institute, the PhiloKids® and PhiloTeens® early-intervention curricula, and #LetsGetReal2Heal, an emotional education movement delivered through reflective circles, healing spaces, and podcast conversations.

From 2012 to 2025, Dr. Joelle also coordinated the STEPS Program© at Dubai Homeopathy Health Center, supporting multidisciplinary assessments and individualized integrative wellbeing plans focused on prevention, emotional resilience, and sustainable behavioural change.

Working in English, Arabic, and French, Dr. Joelle creates educational and therapeutic spaces that encourage individuals to question their existing philosophy of life, reconnect with their inner vitality, and develop a more conscious and meaningful relationship with health and healing.
