About Zainab Abbas
Zainab Abbas is a certified Creative Therapeutic Practitioner (CPCAB, UK), specialising in supporting autistic and neurodivergent children. With a background in art, design, and creative therapies, Zainab draws on global approaches to therapeutic art, gained through experience in the UK, USA, Japan, and Italy.
Zainab works across a wide range of settings—from one-on-one private sessions and trauma recovery spaces to hospitals, healing from toxic relationships, and corporate wellness programs. Her sessions are designed for individuals of all ages and abilities (children, adults, elderly), with a deep focus on meeting each person exactly where they are, with creativity, compassion, and presence.
Intention:
Zainab’s work as a creative therapist is rooted in the belief that art is a powerful tool for self-discovery, emotional expression, and healing. Creative therapy offers an alternative to traditional talk therapy by providing a voice to those who struggle to express themselves with words. Whether you're a child processing emotions, an adult seeking clarity, or an elder reconnecting with memory, Zainab creates a safe space for self-exploration.
Rather than focusing on “fixing,” Zainab’s approach encourages curiosity and creative engagement, guiding clients toward wholeness through the act of creating.
Modalities:
-
Therapeutic & mindful art practices
-
Support for all ages and abilities (children, adults, elderly)
-
Specialized work with People of Determination (Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, etc.)
-
Art-based healing for hospitalized patients
-
NLP coaching & self-awareness techniques
What to Expect:
Sessions with Zainab are gentle, personal, and tailored to your needs. Using sensory materials and intuitive guidance, she creates a safe, non-judgmental space for free expression, focusing on the process rather than the end result. This allows for reconnection, release, and rediscovery.
Through art, Zainab helps clients explore their inner worlds, process emotions, and find meaning through color, form, texture, and image.
