My intention is to provide a safe space for healing and self-discovery through art and mindfulness. I aim to help people process emotions, build resilience, and find inner peace through creative expression.
Art Therapy: Art therapy is a therapeutic practice that uses creative processes like painting, drawing, and sculpture to help individuals express emotions, improve mental well-being, and explore personal experiences. It is guided by a trained art therapist and can be beneficial for managing stress, trauma, anxiety, and self-awareness.
Emotional Release: Emotional release is the process of expressing and letting go of suppressed or intense emotions, often leading to a sense of relief and healing. It can occur through various methods, such as crying, journaling, movement, breathwork, therapy, or creative activities like art and music. Emotional release helps in processing past experiences, reducing stress, and promoting overall well-being.
Children & Youth Wellbeing: Children and youth wellbeing refers to the overall physical, emotional, mental, and social health of young individuals. It involves providing a supportive environment that nurtures their development, resilience, and self-esteem.
Afra’s sessions blend art therapy and mindfulness to support emotional healing and self-discovery. Using creative mediums like painting, drawing, and clay-making, participants can express emotions, release stress, and gain deeper self-awareness in a safe and supportive space.
